Fair terms for clearer prices.

Please read these Terms. By using PaidIndex, you agree to them. If you use PaidIndex for an organization, you represent that you can bind that organization.

1. The service

PaidIndex provides pricing references, comparison tools, and user-contributed pricing information. Prices are informational estimates and market observations—not quotes, appraisals, guarantees, or legal, financial, tax, insurance, medical, or other professional advice. Verify scope and price directly with a qualified provider.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract. Keep access links and account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for accurate account information.

3. Contributions and documents

You retain ownership of material you submit. You grant Media Yard LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, analyze, de-identify, and display the pricing facts needed to operate and improve PaidIndex. You represent that you may lawfully submit the material and that it does not violate another person’s privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property, or contractual rights.

Do not upload unnecessary sensitive information. We may reject, redact, quarantine, or remove submissions that appear false, unsafe, unlawful, duplicative, promotional, or unverifiable.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not submit fabricated prices, forged documents, malware, or unlawful content.
• Do not scrape, bulk-download, resell, or reconstruct the database except through an expressly authorized API or written agreement.
• Do not evade access limits, probe security, interfere with the service, or impersonate another person.
• Do not use PaidIndex to make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about individuals.

5. Contributions, access, and paid products

Billing status. Paid billing is not active as of the effective date above. References to proposed prices—including a $29 one-decision evidence report and a $99 project-planning data package—describe planned products, not offers presently available for purchase. A product becomes available only when its checkout is active and the relevant market satisfies PaidIndex’s evidence threshold.

Contributor access. A user may submit an eligible quote or invoice for review. Submission does not guarantee acceptance, publication, immediate access, or a price comparison. Any promotional access is issued only after review, applies to the stated category and period, has no cash value, and remains subject to sufficient matching evidence. We will not generate a fabricated range when evidence is sparse.

One-time purchases. When activated, the checkout will identify the covered decision or project, price, evidence available, included output, delivery method, expiration, taxes, and any refund terms before payment. A report or data package is informational and may contain limitations, sparse results, or clearly labeled modeled context. Unless checkout states otherwise or law requires otherwise, a delivered digital report is non-refundable; if we cannot deliver the purchased product, we will cancel or refund the charge.

Subscriptions. Any future recurring plan will clearly disclose the amount, billing frequency, renewal terms, and cancellation method before enrollment and require affirmative consent. Users will be able to cancel through a reasonably simple method, with cancellation stopping future recurring charges while preserving access already paid for through the applicable period.

Provider products. A provider may pay for verification workflow, profile management, freshness monitoring, or similar software. Payment does not buy a higher evidence tier, preferred search placement, endorsement, access to user contact information, or influence over moderation or price calculations. PaidIndex does not sell contractor leads.

Aggregated reports and licensing. Business reports, APIs, and licensed datasets may include aggregated, de-identified, or public planning information subject to applicable minimum-sample and privacy controls. They do not include private source documents or grant permission to re-identify people, reconstruct restricted records, or make decisions about an individual’s credit, insurance, housing, employment, or eligibility.

Referrals. PaidIndex may receive compensation when a user voluntarily follows a clearly disclosed financing, materials, or other referral link. A material relationship will be disclosed near the link. Referral compensation does not change evidence, ordering, verification, or recommendations.

6. Intellectual property

PaidIndex, its design, software, branding, and compiled database are owned by Media Yard LLC or its licensors. These Terms provide permission to use the service; they do not transfer ownership.

7. Third-party services

The service depends on third-party infrastructure and may link to third-party sites. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party content, listings, availability, or transactions.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEDIA YARD LLC DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not promise that data is complete, current, error-free, or suitable for a particular decision.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEDIA YARD LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR OPPORTUNITIES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow all limitations, so lawful rights remain unaffected.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to protect users or the service, respond to legal requirements, or address a breach. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

11. Governing law

New Jersey law governs these Terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Camden County, New Jersey, and the parties consent to their jurisdiction. Consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived remain in effect.

12. Changes and contact
